Meet the Doctors

 
Dr. Rahul Mehta and Dr. Sangeeta Mehta both graduated from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 2007. They have been practicing dentistry in the Ottawa region since that time. They belong to the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario, the Ontario Dental Association, and the Ottawa Dental Society.

 























 

Dr. Rahul Mehta was born and raised in Pembroke, Ontario and attended Queens University where he received an Honours Degree in Life Sciences. 






























Dr. Sangeeta Mehta attended Villanova University in Pennsylvannia, where she received Honours Degrees in both Biology and History. She was awarded the Tufts Community Dentistry and Dental Public Health award. 

Other than dentistry the Doctors enjoy reading, travel and golf.
 


























 
Dr. Mais Sweidan received her DMD from McGill University in 2010. Following her dental degree, she moved to Vancouver, BC to complete a one year general residency at the Vancouver General Hospital and the British Columbia Cancer Centre. The Residency was focused on surgical dental care and pain control. She moved to Ottawa in 2011 to practice general dentistry. In 2015, she completed a three year periodontal residency program at University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. Her residency covered periodontal care, oral pathology and implantology. In addition, she completed a Master Degree in Public Health.
 
Dr. Sweidan is a member of the Ontario Dental Association the Canadian Dental Association and the American Academy of Periodontology. She is also a fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada. In her spare time, she enjoys biking, swimming, practicing martial arts as well as spending time with her two nieces and her Doberman. Dr. Sweidan is fluent in English, French and Arabic. She speaks conversational Spanish.
